A Word From The Owner

Dunstan Pediatric Services started back in 2011 when I, Christopher Dunstan, began providing OT services to students from a mobile therapy clinic.

Yes, mobile.

Don’t believe me? Here are a couple of pics:

The 34′ Class A motor home and I hopped around to schools in Waterville Valley, Thornton, and Rumney, offering a unique therapy environment for children in need of extra developmental support. Word of this innovative learning space started to get around and we soon expanded our reach to schools in Ashland, Sandwich, and Inter-Lakes. As our community and staff began to grow, our business and vision for its future really started to take shape.

Dunstan Pediatric Services has grown from a staff of three occupational therapists to now seventeen OTs and speech therapists. Although we have since parked our office in Plymouth, New Hampshire, we continue to service a range of districts from Gilford to Franconia and Seabrook to Gorham.

I’ve never considered DPS a placement agency. I’ve always encouraged my staff to become long-term, contributing members of school communities

In 2019, DPS began using the Related Services Program (RSP) to track therapeutic intervention in 15 minute units of time across more than 20 categories, accounting for all service time associated with school therapy. This system offers individualized tracking of the services provided and access to quarterly and yearly summaries, and it ensures that the services match the needs of each child’s IEP.

In the years to come, I hope to offer nursing services, school psychology, and AAC evaluation.

Thanks for letting us be a part of your child’s education.

CHeers,

Chris
